The Goalcrease is dedicated to building “complete goaltenders”.
The ability to track the puck is one key characteristic that differentiates
good goaltenders from great goaltenders. All of the good coaching,
practice, mentoring and repetitions cannot overcome a poor visual
processing system that slows, limits and inhibits automatic visual
response to what is happening in front of the net.
Would you like Lightning-Fast Reflexes? How about:
- Better Central Vision – plays in close,
watch puck into glove
- Better Peripheral Vision – off-wing
shooter, see play develop
- Pick up Rebounds quicker off your pads
- Balanced vision – most goalies have
a weak side or blind spot
- Endurance – your eyes are controlled
by muscles, which get tired in OT!!
- Better Visualization and Concentration –
When your eyes react quickly and automatically, your brain can
devote energy to other tasks
The Goalcrease Believes in USA Sports Vision-
If you answered yes to any of these, then follow in the footsteps
of Goalcrease coaches Robb Stauber, Clint Elberts, Andrew Kent and
Josh Tucker, who have all trained with USA Sports Vision at the
Goalcrease.
“The results were dramatic… I went from an average
NHL goalie to the top ten in the NHL… if you want to be the
best, you cannot overlook any aspect of your training”.
- Robb Stauber
(Save percentage .89 to .91, GAA decreased
by .4 goals/game after completing USA Sports Vision Training
in 1993)
20/20 is not enough. Standard eye exams do not
measure sport-specific skills such as reaction time, peripheral
vision, and the ability to track a moving object. Even if you have
20/20 eyesight, there is a good chance you could still have weak
spots in your visual system that are keeping you from reaching your
true potential. Just like a goalie who always gets up on the same
leg, many goalies have weaker vision to one side, or see very well
in front of them but not peripherally. Some goalies even have complete
blind spots in their visual field! Just think how that would hurt
your game!
Set up your assessment today- In a brief, but
intense 1 hour assessment, you will learn exactly how your visual
system is performing, and how much it could improve! At the special
Goalcrease price of $65, you have nothing to lose, and everything
to gain. Every Goalcrease goalie should take advantage of this
great training opportunity.
Permanent and Guaranteed Results! 30+ hours of
intense one-on-one training with experienced, knowledgeable
coaches will give you a lasting edge over your competition.
