General Background:
Robb grew up in Duluth Minnesota; at age 5 he started playing goalie and never looked back! He has five brothers, all of which played hockey. Robb’s brother Pete won a national title with Lake Superior State College in 1988. He went on to play professional hockey with the Detroit Redwings. Robb’s brother Dan currently coaches Division III College Hockey at the University of Wisconsin Superior. Robb has two children, Ruby and Jaxson, and volunteer-coaches their respective teams; both of which won MN State Championships.

Goalcrease History: 1986-Present
- In 1986 Robb worked for Warren Strelow and Paul Otsby, “Strelow/Otsby Goalie Camps”.
o Warren-Strelow coached the University of Minnesota goalies to three NCAA titles.
o Warren also coached the 1980 US Olympic Gold Medal Goalies.
- From 1994-2001 Robb partnered with Paul Otsby and created the Stauber/Otsby Goalie Camps.
- In 2002 Robb created Stauber’s Goalcrease.
- Since its inception in 2002, Stauber’s Goalcrease has trained over 50% of all MN State Champions, while only training 4% of the State Goalie Population.
- Goalcrease has performed over 60,000 Private Lessons since 2002, a world leader.
