A regular program of Goalcrease one-on-one sessions is the best way to improve your overall goaltending skills. Sometimes, however, there are specific skills that you would like extra practice on. The Goalcrease Clinics are designed for goalies who would like practice on a specific goaltending skill.
Goalie Skills Testing
Date: May 20, 2008

Limit: 10 Per Age Group
Description: The Goalcrease is excited to offer goalie specific skills testing. This is a fun way to test yourself, and see how your skills compare to other goalies your age. The testing will include: stick work such as passing accuracy, on-ice agility tests, competitive drills, skating speed fundamental skills, and off-ice/dryland testing. The program will be broken up into three birth years: 1996-1998, 1993-1995, 1989-1992 with a limit of 10 goalies per group. Each group will receive an hour of on-ice testing and 45 minutes of off-ice dryland testing. The total cost of the program will be $45, and will be at the following times:

Behind The Net Clinics
Limit: 3 Per Clinic
Pre-Requisites: Goalcrease Customers Only
Curriculum: This clinic focuses on Behind The Net skills. Specifically, the clinics will cover, in depth, proper positioning of the feet, stick and body to facilitate good sight-lines to the puck. It will also cover proper reactions to wrap-arounds, walk-outs and centering passes.

Breakaway Clinics

Curriculum: This clinic will focus on several aspects of playing breakaways. Starting with footwork and positioning, goalies will then progress to competitive drills that will allow for the necessary repetitions and feedback.
